On these following CC accounts, wondering if anyone knows which ones are reported to the CBR on the statement date and which are reported at other dates other than the statement
Orchard Bank
HouseHold Bank
Capital One
Ok, sorry to pick on you, as you're certainly not the only one that does this, but can people please start writing subject lines that have something to do with the post. "Curious?" doesn't say anything about what is in your post and lots of people will just ignore the post unless they're feeling a little Alice in Wonderland are curious what's so curious.
Also, did you try searching for this info before posting? I ran a search for "reporting date Orchard Bank" and the first thread said that Orchard bank reports the balance as of the last day of the month.
I don't know about Household bank, you can try a similar search or someone else can chime in.
Capital One reports the balance on your statement.
Orchard and Household Bank are the same bank. They both report balanced at the end of the month (I don't know if it's the last day or last business day).
Now I am really confused, I know for a fact Orchard did not in my case report on the last day. I have had a $190 balance for around a month. The payment due date was July 6th, thats the day I paid the entire balance off. The statement came out of the 10th of July, I was still showing a balance of $0. Obviously they reported on the 10th cause now my report is showing a balance $0 for this account. If the reported on the last day of the month there would be no way the report could show a balance of $0, right?

I don't have an Orchard card, so I don't know. The thread I looked at was a little old and things change. Maybe Orchard reports statement balance now. Here's what I understand you to be saying. Your balance on June 30 was $190. You paid the $190 on July 6, and your balance on your statement dated July 10 was $0. Sometime around today your report updated from some amount ($190?) to $0.
If that's the case, it certainly sounds like they are reporting your statement balance. Was the amount that was on your report before it updated to $0 the amount from your last statement?
ETA: Just noticed the updated subject heading
yes eevry thing you have said is true, the balance reported was from the last staement since I didn't use the card for around a month
HSBC changed their reporting dates about a month ago. They now report on the statement date, as does Cap1.
Cap1 reports when the statement closes. orchardbank reports at th end of the month.. I dont have a household bank card, but it probably reports like orchard

Did you check last month? Orchard/HSBC seemed to report for everybody around the statement date.
