Reporting times from approval or CLI?

I'm curious what y'all have experienced in terms of reporting new TLs or CLIs.

Chase just appeared as a new TL morning, 25 days after approval. (2 new cards at $5K and $4.5K, which lowered my utilization. No change in scores. Hmph.)

No sign from CapOne, Discover, or Comenity, approved 3 weeks ago. Statements already cut, only CapOne has been used.

CLIs from Macy's and Citi granted in late August still aren't showing up.

I know I'm impatient. Should I stop looking for a while? How long?

You will need to be patient with Discover.  It took a couple of months before I received my first statement.  In addition, if you receive a CLI, they will skip reporting next month.  The no reporting on auto CLI's is very annoying when you are getting ready for an app spree.

^^ So annoying! I wish they were required to report in real time.

I agree, I hated waiting for my new CL's last spring to report, too.  The good part about TL's that take a while to report is they don't hurt your credit score as much when the report.  Rather than a spanking brand new TL, you have a TL that is already 2 months old.

Still, I am sure real time reporting is coming.  It may be a few years, but it will come.  It will certainly make app sprees more complicated.

Oh, really?  I didn't know that.  I thought the new TL "ding" would happen whenever it first showed up and be the same whenever it showed up.  Well then, I'll be patient.  They can take alllll the time they want! Smiley Happy
