That would so SUCK...I would hate my job so much LOL. Imagine talking to people about credit cards all day when you can't get a cat to let you hang out in its litter box (because it think you'll take its litter and not replinish LOL) cuz your credit is jacked LOLOLOL

Hahahahaha yeah, I would be a bitch too. Hopefully she doesn't last long there because that was the most annoying phone call I have ever had. Constantly telling me what to do when all I needed was a "yes, you are eligible for an increase" Soon as she told me it increased I pretty much said thanks and hung up LOL

Re: Requested CLI and received this message

Congratulations on the CLI.

BUT, I have to agree with her, when $40 of your $70 payment is interest, you should pay more, like at least $120.
$10 over minimum for long time is NOT good money management.

Re: Requested CLI and received this message

Here's an analogy I like...

You can give someone a steak and baked potato on a plate, and they will enjoy it and thank you for it.  You can take that same steak and potato and put it on the lid of a garbage can, and when you hand it to somebody they will most likely hand it right back.

It's the same meal either way, but the presentation makes all the difference.

The same could be said for the CSRs advice.  While in itself it wasn't 'bad' advice, her delivery/presentation could use some work.  Smiley Wink

Re: Requested CLI and received this message

I think the low monthly payments would explain the small credit increase. I don't know your financial situation so I won't say what I think you should pay, but I will say if you want larger increases in the future try making larger payments and pay in full whenever possible...it will help

They only approved me for $1000 more, which kind of sucks but it's a start. The lady was quite rude though.

COngrats though! Every little bit moves you closer to where you wanted Smiley Happy in due time...They had my DH call before we really started using the call for his CLI and they didn't give what he requested that time but the following CLI they gave more a few months later

She asked why I wanted the increase and why I do not pay over a certain amount each month. My minimum payment is $60 but I pay $70, and $40 of that is interest. She was sort of rude saying I need to pay $120 a month, but I told her I was completely fine with the $70 and I manage all of my bills very well. She kept telling me I needed to pay more, so I continued to tell her that I've got this. lol

Smiley FrustratedWhere do some of these people get "Customer Service 101" at? Completely RUDE! I would have lost my cool and asked for a supervisor or hung up and called back LOL

Well in her defense with working with saless before you have to look at it in her point of view.  She has to deal with a lot of different people every day and some are very rude people toward her. Perhaps she was just having a bad day perhaps one of the previous people she had to help was rude. Not saying she was right in being rude towards the OP but that could be a reason why.
