Requested CLI

I requested a CLI on my American Eagle CC thru the online page. It said I cannot get a CLI at this time. Was it a SP or HP and will i receive a letter or something?

GE are always SP and you need to call and ask to have a "Manual Review" done... it's also a SP but it will be a current fresh one while on phone.

How long have you had the account and current balance?

Re: Requested CLI

Unless I'm mistaken American Eagle credit is issued by GE call there back door number and request an increase the worst they can say is no again. If its GE (99% sure) its a SP.

Re: Requested CLI

If your last cli was less than 4 mos- they will probably say not eligible.

Re: Requested CLI

They denied me too tho it was ridiculous why. A late payment over 4 years ago was the #1 reason.

It's a useless card anyway. One day soon ill be closing it.

Re: Requested CLI

Ive had the card 5 months. They said they would send me letter of why they cant. I know i have no bad history watsoever. Its dumb. What good does a $500 limit help you with when shirts or pants or usually $50-80 a pair.

Re: Requested CLI

With only 3 credit cards and 5 months little more history will be needed but did you have manual review or...?
