Requested Hooters CLI and guess what

I called hooters today and requested a CLI. The representative asked how much I wanted, I said $1,000.00 which would double my credit limit. She put me on hold for about 2 minutes and came back with a congratulations you've been approved you should see the increase in about 2-4 hours. I got my card back in July so I've had it for about 5 months.

Do you know if they did a soft or hard inquiry??

Congrats. How long do you have to wait before you asked CL? I have my card for last 4 months and every time I call for CL they say no. I wonder if I have to wait some more time before I ask. How old is your account when you got your CL?

yeah, I'd like to know too (if it was a hard/soft inquiry).  I was just approved for $1K and was wondering how frequently they will do the CLI's...

Nice.
I got my increase after 2 weeks.
$1250 and I already had $5000 when the card was opened.

It's supposed to be a soft inquiry but for some reason I have 2 extra hard inquiries. Trying to get that fixed.

They review accounts every month and give small increases supposedly like $100-200. And every 6 months you're able to ask for the big increase.

I've had my card for about 5 months now and I'm not sure but I think they pulled a soft if they pulled anything at all. THe CSR didn't say she had to pull my credit report. I didn't receive any alerts from Truecredit so I'm really not sure. I've heard from other posts they do CLI every six or seven months but I decided to take a chance and ask for one and it paid off.
