Anyone has experience to switch reward program with Discover?
I am currently have a Discover Miles, but I would like to switch to Discover It since It has 5% cash back each quarter with different categories.
Does Discover allow this? If they do, is they going to pull a credit report and/or credit score? Soft pull? Hard pull? or simiply a reward program changed?
Thanks in advance.

In order to convert the card from IT to miles your card has to be a year old but I'm not sure if it's the same the other way around. No hardpull is required. If your account is eligible then they'll do it. You can try through chat.

Converted my card and no problems from the Discover Miles to the Discover It. No HP in the bureaus either. Assume it is considered a product change.
I switched from Chrome to IT about 3 months after opening the account. I realized my spend didn't match the program. It was really easy, no HP or SP. The CSR even mentioned that the IT was a better fit because she could see my spend pattern. I'll just pretend that isn't creepy and appreciate that they made the change so soon after getting the card.
