So I applied for the Ritz card on February 1st. I had a trip to CT on the 5th and was told I'd have it in CT on 5th. Well it turned out to be a big mess and I had to talk to about 9-10 reps within a 4-5 day period to finally get my card. Because on the 6th I was going to Vermont and wanted to have it. They sent my Marriott card to CT at one point instead of Ritz, which was random. The Ritz card ended up in Florida, where I live, and one of the reps cancelled (by accident) the Ritz card going to CT. I finally got the card in CT but it took a lot of my time.
So I've been waiting this whole month for the AF to hit. Once it did I took to Twitter and told them about my story. (Remembering JSU's success) They took a few days to look into it, including listening to my phone calls with the reps and once they did they informed me they refunded my AF. That was two days ago. Today I logged into my account and saw the credit. I'm pretty stoked. Now I doubt they'll refund anyone's AF as they barely did mine, I just had a rare case but I must say their customer service is pretty top notch. Especially on Twitter.
Awesome!
Congrats.
Nothing wrong with a year wavied on the AF.

We're the few...the proud...the refunded
Thanks guys. I didn't get to use the travel credit so I'm hoping I do before the end of the year to take full advantage.
Well, fraudulent charge on my ritz card. They're replacing it. I wonder if I'll get metal or plastic.
