I think i will app and use the 2 certificate for a 4 night at ritz cancun. Any1 know if i can use the club level upgrade on paid stay not using ritz card? I plan on paying for another room with citi prestige to get 4th night free, and upgrade to club for my parent?

Gotta pay for the room with the ritz card, but I see no reason you cant sneak the people from the second room up there with you to the club. Smiley Tongue (Depending on how many of you there are)

Its my parent's wedding anniversary so i dont want to bother them lol. I just tag along to ensure everything go smoothly and enjoy amini vacation myself.

Well, for something like that I'd give them the club level upgrade, make the reservation (for both rooms) under your name, add them onto the reservation for the room with the club level upgrade, and then you should be good to get in yourself (without bothering them)

If that doesn't work, bite the bullet and let them enjoy club level and you can live like those "low level" ritz customers for a few days Smiley Tongue

If you've ever stayed on the concierge level at a hyatt, or been into a concierge lounge/executive lounge at a marriott, or hilton, or whatever chain, multiply by 500 and you get ritz club level. The clubs at the ritz are really incomparable to most other hotel chains in both their offerings, and the quality of the club itself. Price is also usually a huge factor in the club level rooms. They are usually substantially more expensive than a standard room (sometimes you can get a good deal, but it's usually at least  $100 more a night. )

Re: Ritz Chase Card

Does anyone know if the certs could also be elegible for Marriot's Lowest Price guaratee? For example, make the reservation for the regular rate, call to attatch the cert to the reservation and then file a form (given there is a lower price for the same room at another website)

Marriott Premier SV: $8,500 Amex blue sky: $24,000 BoA BBR: $3,900 BoA Cash Rewards: $9,100 Ritz Carlton: $5,000 Discover: $5,000

Re: Ritz Chase Card

I just heard back from the SM and like ddemari, they told me no problem to spend the 3k and them message them back and I would receive the 140k points in stead of the original one free night after 2k spend. I am soooo excited they did this, thanks for the help on here!!

SM when your account is created..  The card comes preactivated but keep in mind that you probably don't have an account set up yet and won't for a few days
