Rookie to the forums

I have 2 capital one cards (QS1-1600and QS-1600) 2 years will be in a couple of months, my plan is to apply for venture and Amex waiting for inquirys to fall off in 6 months... Anyways wondering if I should cobine those 2 capital one cards together so I can have 1 card with 3200 limit. Is this possible and if so how would I go about it?

Welcome to the forums.. With capital one, there is no combining of limits.  You have to apply for new credit.  Since you have a clean report, why not apply for an Amex, Chase or Discover?  Why just cap 1?

Lets get started.. What are your dream cards?  How long have you have those 2 cap 1 cards?

Barclays 4500
Discover 1500
Citi thank you card 3500
Capital ones as I mentioned
Amex and venture is what I'm preparing for! 😬

Due to the 3xcli from Amex ? And if so does applying for multiple cards at the same time hurt my chances?

Yes.. because of the 3xCLI.  To answer your last question, you can only get the 3xCLI after 61 days although some people have gotten it right after activating the card. Applying for multiple cards in the same day should not hurt.  How many cards are you planning to get?

if the 3xcli does not work upon activation, do you wait untill the 61 mark or does it become a 6month wait?

max 3 cards! ive been gardening for a 6months,waiting another 6 for TU inquriers to fall off (21-carloan)  and I want to try to CLI all of my other cards but i hear barcaly and chase are usually hardpulls:smileyfrustrated
