some little thing wanna update u guys
ok, i talked to the assistant manager, he said the reason i was being approve for 1000 is because there is no credit score on my experian report. however, he will pull my equifax report and see my score.
lucky, it show a score on my equifax report he said is 790.
then he said he would have the underwriter to look at it and request a higher limit since it is a good score.
however, he said he can eliminate the experian inquiry by sending experian a mail.
im now waiting for the new credit limit.
however, do any of u know why there is no score on experian report?
Curious to know that the outcome of this was..........
Bumping this topic up...
Curious if anyone who joined SDFCU have since app'ed for their card and what your experiences have been so far?
I just joined and had some issues at first where they wanted me to come in physically (I live no where near Virginia), but after a couple of calls, I got in touch with someone who was able to get my application accepted. I am looking to apply for the EMV card next year and wondering if I can expect problems with getting the EMV card (other than if my credit prohibits me).
Thanks in advance.
Also wondering about this CU.
When ever I attempt to join it redirects me to a website called Andrea?
Anyone else experiencing this?
Also, the link posted on a previous thread is now idicating $50 if you open a checking and use the card 10 times in 60 days.
Offer ends August 31st Is this for next year, or an old offer?
Thanks in advance.
Sent in membership application 3 days ago and now waiting on the results for membership only. If accepted I will apply for their credit card in April 2014...but would of course also love to read experiences with this CU.
So far I haven't had any real problems yet. When I joined SDFCU in July, I opened a checking and saving account to get the bonus, as well as the Visa. I tried to apply online and there was a website problem. After calling their call center, the agent was able to retrieve my application. She verified a few things and asked me for a copy of my driver's license, social security card, and 2 paystubs. The agent then emailed the paperwork as well as my account numbers. I went to my local credit union since they are a shared credit union member along with SDFCU. The agent told me that SDFCU's credit & loan department, called Lending Solutions, would review my application for the credit card.
Initially it was declined due to my bankruptcy. I reconned through Lending Solutions. I had to basically email a brief statement about my bankruptcy and a month's worth of paystubs. I was approved for $10000 at 8.9%. Í was shocked and happy, 8.9 isn't 6.9%, but it is the lowested APR I have yet.
A friend of mine has his car loan with them and is paying 1.9 for 60 months.
I just got my $50.00 bonus today. I like the credit union and plan on using their services forever.
