Today we bought a .8 cubic foot combination and key lock fire proof safe to store our 'sock drawer' credit cards, along with some other valuables. This may seem a bit paranoid, but we do have a cleaning lady who comes in every few weeks. This is the first safe we've ever owned.
It's a Sentry brand safe, picked up at Office Depot for $169.
Does anybody else use a safe? What do you like or dislike about it? Things to be aware of?

I have 3 cards that I "sock drawered" my solution to not using them was a paper shredder I got for my office for christmas. I wrote all the necessary info. off of them down and locked it up but I shredded the cards. Now there will be no whimsy lunches at the Cheese Cake factory to ruin the 0 balances on those three cards lol.
You know you can order from the Cheesecake Factory online store, no physical credit card required, right?

Does anybody else use a safe? What do you like or dislike about it? Things to be aware of?I just bought my Sentry from Target it was on sale for $69 (half price). Its bigger outside of the box. I got the one with the key, but you have push down and turn before it opens. Yes, it too takes me a few tries. I do put credit cards, important papers, and cash {just in case of emergencies}.I donlt feel the need to use a safe deposit box, had one of those and rarely used it.So I really don't think you are paranoid.
No its a full safe. I had to get my DH to carry it from the car into the house. Is your black? I threw out the box so I don't really know the size.

$69, wow, that's a lot cheaper than I paid!
Is it a full safe, or is it a fireproof lockbox with key?
