I have herd that this card does report CL. I do not need util, anyway my util is 0%

psychic wrote:I don't have this card, but I can tell you what I know about it. I've had the regular, store-use only Saks Fifth Avenue card since 1978. Saks accounts are currently handled by HSBC. They do review my Equifax report annually.I do receive numerous invitations to upgrade my card to the Saks Fifth Avenue World Elite MasterCard, but I decline these offers. In fact, I currently have an offer for this card that expires May 16th. The reason that I don't accept these "invitations" is that the Saks MC is a separate, distinct card from their regular retail store card. Although these are "preapproved" offers, it still means a new, hard inquiry on my credit reports. From what Saks' Credit Department has explained to me, should I accept one of these "invitations," I would keep my old Saks account, and the new MC would be in addition to my existing Saks card. My current Saks retail store credit card number would be on the back of the MasterCard. I would receive 2 different billing statements--one from my Saks purchases (using the retail account number) and another one from purchases using the MasterCard. As mentioned by so_confused, this is a "World" card. It has a no pre-set spending limit, and chances are very slim that this card would accurately report a credit line to the CRAs.

I can't tell you much about the card but, as I'm sure everyone knows, HSBC is very stingy when it comes to CL. Maybe the UW is a bit different on this card, I couldn't tell you. However, even if you do wind up with a small limit, do keep in mind that that does not in any way put a limit on the usability of this card. Since it is World MC it has "no preset spending limit," so figure you can charge as much as you like as long as you PIF at the end of the month. Plus you get airport lounge access, free upgrades from economy to business class with "certain airlines," and the possibility of free companion ticket.
What's that, no AF?! I could have sworn this was the card with the $450 AF!
