Nice to know...just got my SC MC and I travel to the Philippines at least once a year...
@pipeguy wrote:No FTF's is a nice benefit, that said Sam's MC is a GE/Sync very high APR card so I'm not sure I'd put major oveseas costs on that card if I wasn't able to PIF as soon as I got back. I do like my Sams card and I have a 5 figure CL, but banking the rewards for a year and carrying a high APR keep me from using the card as a daily spender. Don't get me wrong, GE/Sync going to no FTF is going to pressure others to follow suit (FTF charges are such a rip anyway).
With the high APR, it really shouldn't be used to finance major purchases. I keep this card strictly to PIF. That said, my CU usually has BT offers for 1.9% and no fee, so that would be a good option for me if I needed to finance a travel purchase.
Synchrony will find a way in my wallet hopefully later this year
...very tempted now but gardening off cards for some new Chase cards first (5/24) and then shoot an app for Sams right afterwards.
I'm not a Sam's member but this card looks awfully tempting. With all that I spend on gas, I could probably make the membership fee back, even if I rarely shop at Sam's.
Hoping Citi will have a similar rewards program and also drop FTF with the new Costco card ::fingers crossed::

Same here... I actually got a membership just so I could apply for the credit card. ![]()
I've ended up finding value in the membership as well, but even if I never step foot in a club location, the rewards from the card make the membership fee worthwhile.

I never shop at Sam's. But use my MC daily.
Guess I'll be going soon though to cash my check! ![]()
