Sam's Club MasterCard

I applied online on my phone when I was shopping in Sam's club store for the CC MasterCard and was approved for $2400. But it looks that they change my interest % after the fact, does anyone has the same problem? Also, anyone knows what kind of credit Agency they used because their scoring is 300 to 620 only? My score was 520. Finally, does anyone can share his experience about their CLI with Synchrony in this CC. Thx

Congrats on your approval. I have really no knowledge about the Sam's card. (No Sam's anywhere near Me)

Re: Sam's Club MasterCard

They are pretty liberal with increases in my experience. It will grow over time.

Pretty sure they only have two interest rates 2 tiers. If it changed you should definitely talk to them about that because I think it’s either a type 1 or type 2 account.

Re: Sam's Club MasterCard

@SifiUSa, TU is typically accessed for the Sam's Club MC. If you have any type of CMS subscription, you could confirm there. At any rate, the score they cited is SYNCB's own internal 'in house' score.

That said, when you apply, you are considered for Type 1 pricing. If you do not meet their UW criteria for Type 1 (among other factors) you will be assigned Type 2 pricing, which usually tends to be the higher-end APR.

Even if pre-approved, any APR is subject to change once a final review of your overall credit profile is determined. So, whatever final APR is assigned, it cannot be adjusted or changed, unfortunately.
