Store CC = In Store

Discover = temp in store / mail the permanent card

Yes, that is correct. I assumed OP was referring to the store card.

Thank you. I see no reason why anyone would get the sams card then? I would value the free fico score at about 15 bucks a month thats like 180 a year.

I personally got it for 2 things, util. and I shop at both and would like to keep the expenses seperate. 

Sams = groceries, home items (soap, shampoo etc)

Walmart = Clothes, electronics, house goods.

It was the store card I was approved for so its good to know that I should be getting it from the vs. waiting for it in the mail since I will be going there this week.  Would have felt like an idiot had I not LOL

Same here....they give you the actual card at the store with your pic on it.  No other card comes in the mail.  And yea, the day I picked up my card I looked like I had just escaped from a prison.  I literally had on a white and black striped t-shirt and it is quite visible on the card...sighhhh.

Two reasons to have both or at least the Sam's Club card, the Walmart card won't get you cash over from Sam's club, and vice versa, the Sam's club card seems to have better CLI's quicker without calling credit solutions because Sam's has more things that cost a lot. The walmart card comes with a free TU, and niether card has an AF, and both have the possibility of being upgraded to Discover cards in time.
