Score Cash+ ATT offer -- Got 150 Cashback + 5% for cat

So many of you know about the lucrative AT&T promos, like the "Spend $65, get $50 back" offers that show up on Chase and Citi cards.

This time, one popped up on my US Bank Cash+ card: spend $100 and get $75 back. I went ahead and prepaid $100 on my AT&T account.

The catch (or rather the bonus) was that it happened to be some kind of double cash back day or promotion. I logged into my account today and was surprised to see I actually got $150 back on a $100 prepayment! 😲 So now I have a $150 credit balance on my account, plus I still earned the 5% cash back from the cell phone category.

I don't think you can beat that! 😂 It definitely made my day, especially after having to shell out money lately for the not-so-fun stuff like shop vacs and other unexpected expenses. Nice when something actually goes your way for a change.

I think ATT has to have the most lucrative offers on spend with card issuers.  If you get lucky you can basically only pay a few months of cell phone service a year if you have the right card mix and get the offers!  Have had many on Chase, Citi cards, PNC and now US Bank!

If you don't pay off the entire monthly bill this way, does it still trigger the $10/line autopay discount when using a checking account?

@ptatohed Hey.  Yep exactly what it is for new customers but works for existing customers and has always worked as apparently they have no simple API check with ATT to check if they are a new or an existing customer.  Anyways yes a pretty big win as I see it as getting up to level of a sign-up bonus for. just a normal bill I was going to pay with this exact card anyways.
