Greetings members!
So recently i've paid off my statement balance in complete. On the 24th, my score went up 33 points for paying off one card, and then earlier today I recieved an email notifing me of a score drop by 14 points for paying off the second card. Can someone help me make sense of this situation? Thank you very much!
if you only have two revolving accounts and both are showing zero balance you will lose points.

As involver mentioned, with only two cards zero balance can lower your score. Leaving 9% or less on one card is what's considered the best thing to do.
But I think even more important is don't get too caught up in daily or even monthly changes to your score, good or bad. You're in this for the long haul, like investing in stocks and worrying about daily swings can be a stress.
I just got an email from MyFico stating "Balance change has been detected in your TransUnion data". My total balances on 7 cards went from $379 to $228 and that last figure is on one card at 7% utilization. After logging in, My score dropped 9 points on TU.
Go figure.
I can't explain the scores but if you are making your payments on time, daily/monthly swings can still happen
I have 3 revolving accounts, only use 2 however.
I have 3 cards but only use 2. I get what you're trying to say though. Thanks for the info!

Does that mean all 3 showed 0 balances? If so, that's what caused your score drop. As crazy as it sounds you should let one of the 3 show a small balance when it reports and then PIF before the due date.
