Scored...CLI

I just opened a Nordstrom store card to shop the annual sale and I initially received $1000 a week ago and today I called to get it increased and they gave me another $1000.  That's exciting.  I've heard nothing but good things about nordstroms card.  Anyone else have any good experiences with them?

Equifax and my score was 692.  I probably need to stop applying for cards and garden for a while but for now I am happy Smiley Happy

Absolutely.  I think telling them I wanted to spend money at the annual sale sealed the deal in addition to the right credit information.

Re: Scored...CLI

I tried that too and they took me from $500 to $1000. couple of days after I got approved.

I wonder if their 'consumer initiated' CLI's are SP's ?

You absolutely should.  That's what I used to get my increase. I am sure they want you to spend money during this sale so explain to them that you really want to get some items that are above your limit or that you'd really like to spend more but you need more to spend.  At the end of the call the lady said happy shopping Smiley Happy

Re: Scored...CLI

I'll try to do this when I get home. Want to make sure it's not a HP first. Sometimes the CSR's don't know. I will post my result.
