Back in my former Sears days, we encouraged the apping of both the store card and the MC version, it was touted as being a way to "instantly" save $25 on the current purchase even if they never used the cards again!! Of course, this was way, way before I knew the term sock drawer or even realized they were receiving a double hard pull for the two apps! If I had been a part of Myfico back then, I couldn't have performed my job, and I was really, really good at my job...lol.
Lol, Outofcredit I know it doesn't count but I've made relatively big buys for me in the last couple months and used my Sears card then paid in full within a week or 2. I like to imagine this helps me on the credit front. Getting an sp cli Sears blew my mind . Pif when you can kiddos, only positive things can happen

Yes my Sears MC has been giving clockwork cashback for a bit less
than 2 years, at least that I have noticed and been taking advantage of.
Currently, apr/may/june $2kMIN-3kMAX spend on groc,gas,rest and then a 10% statement credit.
Some times it is like $50 back for $200 spend or what not.
I have been very happy (and normally do the max, or close to it and then PIF ))
For me, I only get emails for the deals, and theu the email I have to click to activate.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. Lol, I actually do like Synchrony, just look at my siggy. What I or many people dont like is when a card gets upgraded, you lose your original account and the upgrade becomes a new account. To me that's insane as might as well app a new card. But overall I'm happy with how Synchrony has treated me and my profile
