Secured Card

I currently have two secured cards one with a 300.00 limit and  500.00 limit. I am looking to get a card with a 1,000.00 limit so I can eventually qualify for a unsecured card with a higher balance than my current 500.00. Will this help me to get a higher credit limit is the future?

Re: Secured Card

Re: Secured Card

You could always cancel one secured card and transfer the funds to the other, then it would have a CL of 800, this would help get your highers limits in the future as one of the factors (supposedly) banks look at is CL on your current cards, when completing approvals.
