I am helping a person to rebuild and I think the only product i can get them right now is a secured credit card. I am looking for opinions on the different cards and if anyone got one from a local bank like US bank/BOA as opposed to the ones that come up on the searches for credit cards.
I have Orchard and BofA. Orchard is good during the rebuilder phase of credit repair. It is a good rebuilder card but I don't think they will ever graduate. BofA is great too. It will typically graduate within a year's time and they are generous in CLIs post-graduation.
My sister is also rebuilding. First thing I did was contact her local credit union. She was in the upper 500's at the time, and they gave a 2k MC. Then I made her an AU on my 2 AMEX cards.
