Does anybody know of a secured credit credit card that does not do a hard pull and does not charge an annual fee?
I saw somewhere that the only secured cards that don't do a hard pull are OpenSky and Self, which both charge an annual fee, but there is still hope because there are a lot of banks and credit unions that many people never heard about, so if anyone is happens to know of one, please let me know.
I am sure there are so many secured cards that does not hard pull and does not charge AF. I have cards with SDFCU and Affinity FCU, NJ. They both do not do credit check and does not charge AF. SDFCU might graduate after 12 months, does not charge FT fees, also gives rewards. I am sure there are many other cards that do not charge AF and do not credit check.

I am sure too, but I just don't know what they are.
I know that SDFCU does not do a hard pull or charge a fee, but they do a hard pull for membership. I emailed them about that and checked up other sites online. If Affinity doesn't do a hard pull, then maybe I'll look in to that. But are you sure there's no hard pull for membership? I know that a lot of credit unions do a hard pull for some reason.

SDFCU has a good secured card product.
Don't let a HP prevent you from getting a card. Any effect of a HP is minimal, and fades in 6 months then a year is non-scoring. HP are part of the game.

I know Affinity did not pull for me. You can call them and ask them and confirm. Even SDFCU does a pull for membership it will be a soft and not hard. For me SDFCU did a soft for the membership. I am happy with both cards. Affinity does not graduate after 12 months. SDFCU claims their secured cards graduate after 12 months. It will be 12 months in November. I have to wait and see.

The thing is that SDFCU does a HP for membership, and I have no clue whether they will even approve me. I got denied for a different credit union because of my Chexsystyms report. No HP on my credit report but still denied, and they could not tell me why, and there was NOTHING negative on my Chexsystyms report when I ordered it, so that's why I won't become a member of a credit union that does a hard pull because I have no way to know how they make their decision.

Maybe things changed, but when i asked SDFCU, they said that there is a HP for membership but no HP for the secured card. I'm not sure why they need to do a hard pull just for membership.

When I applied for Langley Secrued card twice, ecen though I am already a member, both times they pulled Hard and declined me. I am not apping any more with any one so I am not worried about HP at this time. You have to do what you feel best for you. Every one have their own preferences.

Check out credit unions, like SDFCU. They dont pull, have a low APR, hardly any fees, and it does graduate.

I checked out SDFCU. They told me there's no hard pull for a secured card, but there is a hard pull for membership, so that's no different then applying for a secured card with a hard pull. Have you applied for SDFCU membership? was there a hard pull? how long ago?
