Re: Self imposed timeout!!!!

I'm joining you! I only started rebuilding in March... (I guess you could count my Victorias secret card from April 2014 as the start if you really wanted to, but I got that one through the SCT and really only wanted it because they carry long length pajamas which are hard to find when you're 5'10")

I have a Macy's card, a Capital One Secured card, a Capital One Quicksilver 1 card, an overstock.com card, and my now coveted Victorias Secret Forever angel card (I might have a pajama obsession). I apped for a couple other cards and got denied... so I decided it's time to back off and let these cards age and grow... I have some baddies scheduled to fall off my reports end of this year/beginning of next and by that time I'll hopefully be in a position to finance a new HVAC unit for our house. Here in a few short weeks, I'll have a newborn to occupy my time which should keep my feet firmly planted in the garden.

My scores aren't where they need to be for some of the better cards that I'd want anyway, so watching them grow will be a very rewarding experience! As it stands right now, my scores are EQ 603, TU 585, EX 605. I'm hoping that by years end November/early December I'll have scores enough for a good card with good benefits to it and scores good enough for Lowes or Home Depot (as a kid I hated these stores, but love them now!)

Good luck with your gardening plans! Hoping for the best outcomes for all of us!
Slowly rebuilding, learning as I go, but that's the beauty of learning...You never have to stop!
