Yes, it will count towards UTI. Congrats!
Interesting...do those cards end up reporting to the bureaus, even if you don't use them? Too bad I don't use any of those stores!

Guess that answered my above question.

In my case:
I have 5 Comenity cards. I only 2 of them on a regular basis. The 3 I don't use reported only once since I've got them (since Comenity doesn't generate an invoice when there's a zero balance)
The $0 balances count towards the utilization percentage though.

They do! A Comenity OneStopPlus was my first non-secured card. I've never used it (I'm not plus sized), but it was the only one I could get to show up at the time and I was desperate, lol.
Recently got a CLI from $500 to $900, even though it's been SD'ed since 2011.
Thanks! I had all my cards down to $0 or less than $20 but I used one this month and now it carries a high balance. I will have it paid off in July tho so I'm not too worried. It does seem like your score is one-step forward two steps backwards tho. So I'm hoping that if that card reports a high balance before I can pay it back down that it wont do too much damage that it won't jump back up after the balance goes back down.

Your score will vary each month depending on your reported UTI for that month. Not a big deal to carry balances if you don't plan to app...other than paying the high interest.
Does anyone know which Visa or MC the shopping trick works on from Commedity? so far I only know of one
I am shooting for fall to start the home buying process. I still have a state tax lien I have to take care of, along with a few other medicals. There are also a few things set to fall off over the next 6 months.

Most would recommend no inquiries or new accounts 6-12 months before apping for a mortgage, so if I were you I'd manage to get rid of the baddies and take good care of current accounts.
