Should I app for Amex Zync now?

Did you mean the Citi Forward card?  Freedom is a Chase card.

Awesome, thanks for all of your help! I was actually thinking of applying for the Citi forward card as my 3rd card. It seemes like a good card! Anyway, my main goal in my credit life is to get that zync card, which I'm determined to get!!

I hear ya! AMEX has been my ultimate goal as well.

The Citi card I was just approved for is the Dividend Platinum Visa for students. After I was approved I was like, screw it, I'm going to apply for a Zync just for s*&^s and giggles and see what happens. I was completely blindsided when I got the approved screen, instantly, no less! So you never know until you apply....you just have to decide whether or not it's worth the inquiry to you.

I need to make correction....she has Forward from Citi (not Freedom from Chase).

Not yet, I think I'm going to apply for it next week after my Cap1 statement sets.

Please let us know if you get approved when you decide to apply. I am in a very similar situtation with limited credit.
