Should I app for Discover?

myfico / get a card says I can get a discover card. Should I try for it? Or should I wait another 6-12 months and try for it? I dont need another card at this time. Just want to complete the credit card collection lineup with Discover.

Cool!  It's a deal.  So let's write this down.  In October 2008, you can app for Discover and I'll app for my BofA Amex at the same time.  Sound like a plan?

Agree. But I've lost track of your history over the last three years, concord --do you have any lates or other baddies within 2 or 3 years? I'm waiting one more year before app'ing Discover, if I do at all, to let any and all baddies go over 24 months.

Also, they're pretty conservative. You'd probably do better to let the inqs cool off. I know you've been closing your starter cards and upgrading your profile, but a little more simmering on the back burner wouldn't hurt.

Do you strongly feels the Discover will give you a CL of 1K or more if you apply?

I'm in with you - but mine is nothing before Nov 2008 that costs me an INQ -- and I am seriously thinking of Nov 2009 (inq free reports except for HSBC which I m raising a fit over).
