Should I go for a CSP CLI?

Hello all,

I wanted some advice on whether or not I should go for a CLI on my CSP. I recently received a CLI on both of my USAA World MCs. My limits in my signature are current. I opened the account in August of 2013 and received a CL of $7.5k. I have put about 3K through the card and am PIF. I would like to see my limit closer to 15k but I know I havent used the card a whole bunch. My EXP FICO is 735 (which is what they pulled in August), EQ 728, and TU 742. AAoA is 3 yrs, oldest 5 yr. Income around 80k. I only have 3 inq on my Exp, im wondering if I should go for it or wait and see if I get Auto-CLI'd?

Re: Should I go for a CSP CLI?

Everything looks pretty good if you want to pull the trigger for a CLI.  However, unless you are desperate to get your limit up to $15k, I would wait a few more months and see if you get an auto luv first.  With your current profile, I think you'll get it but if you don't want to burn any HPs, then give it a few months and see if Chase acts first.

Re: Should I go for a CSP CLI?

Thanks for the advice! I might just wait a bit longer and see what happens. Id like to see this card have a higher limit as its the only card I have with no FTF's and my "go to" card with foreign travel and expenses.

Re: Should I go for a CSP CLI?

Chase just gave me a Auto 5k CLI on my CSP and I got the card in September last year. What I think did it was usage I put 7-10k through the card each month. I would put every dollar you spend on it and make that usage as large as possible (don't over spend that said) and wait and see.
