Should I shut down my Amex Zync before AF hits?

I don't use my Amex Zync at all, I had only opened it to get my foot into the door with Amex. I realize that this card is discontinued so I am hesitant to shut it down. Is there any reason I should keep it open?

Call and see if they will waive AF first then make you decision

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I would love to be added as an AU, and then you shut the card down in your name and I take it over! I would even give you the cost of the AF. Is this legal? I have wanted the Zync card since it came out, but only got my scores high enough once it was discontinued!
