You're at 11% utilization. Best practice when applying is to have less than 10, if not less than 5.
I'd wait a month if you do not have in immediate need for the new card.
If you get denied you can't try again for 6 months. I definitely had higher UTIL then 11% when approved but as always AMEX is a tricky ------ ! So YMMV!

I got a cli from discover before this last statement closed. It went to 1500, and I let the statement close with a $0 balance. The discover statement closed on the 10th, and it still has not reported, but I am ready to apply.
My intentions were to have 1 act with a balance, and the other 2 have a zero. I have had my Amex since last November. Should I continue to wait or just go for it?
I think you are good to go, it's been more than 6 months since your last Amex and I am pretty confident you will be aproved for the SPG. Of course, you would only app if you need the card. GL
I would just wait it out until your utilization is below 10%!
Sorry your right 30 days after decline, 6 months for CLI (AMEX)

How many accounts did you have this utilization spread over when applying for amex?
