I got a rpe apprve letter in the mail a while ago from amex and they declined me because i didnt have enough credit. So i got a barclay 3800, chase freedom which i have had for a few months. I have a capital one which i hate CL 1000 had it since 2008.. Should I try Amex again or maybe citi?

You should have no trouble getting a charge card product with Amex. Citi Forward is my fav these days too... but I am still blacklisted!

How long is your credit history? How many tradelines do you have? You might want to apply for charge card like Amex Zync and it is easier to get. By the way, I have seen people got denied over 700 because of lack of credit history.

I think the general consensus is 8-10 years.
