Typically, how long do signup bonus offers last? Specifically, I'm looking at the Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard which is offering 40k miles for $1000 in charges in the first 3 months. How long do you think that offer will be good for? I don't want to apply right now since I just opened 3 new cards plus a car loan and from what I understand they are inq/new account sensitive. Plus, I just got the Amex which means I'm pushing that card for the bonus right now.
If I wait until Feb (6 months from opening last card) do you think the bonus will still be there?
Thanks. That at least gives me an idea of how long they run. I couldn't figure out if I had days, weeks or months. I have only 1inq on TU (EQ and EX are the ones that got beat with the inq stick) so hopefully I'll be ok when I do apply.
travel card signup bonuses tend to consitently stay @ relatively high amounts.
It's really when you see a signup that is a few hundred bucks better than what is normally offered that you need to think about how long you can wait, especially on the non-travel Cash rewards/point rewards type cards. Outside of the Barclays NFL card, there hasn't been too many "easy" ones lately (and even they raised the spend threshold from 1000 to 2500 for the same $400 bonus)
over at slickdeals theres a lot of "meh, ill wait for the chase freedom $300 bonus to come back". And so they have waited....and waited...and continue to wait
