Currently I am eyeballing a few cards for closure. One of which is Simplicity. My question is... Does it PC to anything? Has anyone had any luck with a PC from Simplicity to any other product? I know my CDP will PC to DC so that is my plan at this point, but Simplicity has the higher limit so I would rather keep the higher limit.
So what say you?? Is a PC from Simplicity to ANYTHING else even possible?

Not quite the same but I was able to get the Citi EO to re-allocate my credit lines (in September 2014). You may want to contact Citi EO (I used the telephone and they were super nice) to see if there is a p/c for the CIti Simplicity. In the event you can't, is there a Citi Card you want they could help you get and transfer the CL. Or, do you want to re-allocate your Citi Simplicity CL to other Citi Card(s) and close the Citi Simplicity. Something to think about. You could p/c the Citi DP to the Citi Double Cash (read that).

Diamond Prefferred to Double Cash is the plan, but that leaves me with Simplicity which is useless to me. I really don't need Double Cash either since I already have Fidelity AMEX but at least there's a chance I might use Double Cash some day if I ever to wonder into the boondox somewhere that AMEX isn't accepted.
I just can't recall reading any instance where anyone ever successfully PCd Simplicity to anything. Reallocating the CL first would be GREAT but I had also always read that Citi didn't do that.

Have not read about a p/c for the Citi Simplicity either. Personally, I just did a credit limit re-allocation between three Citi cards as they declined any kind of CLI due to max exposure.
I have been in the same situation - Until today - Simplicity had my highest CL- I have been trying for months. I have had two supervisors tell me recently that I can PC mine to DC only after my 0% intro APR offer is over. Not trusting it - I chatted with a rep. last week - who insisted what so many people here have - Simplicity cannot be PCed - PERIOD! I have even tried what Wanderer has done - and after several calls - finally someone said that I can reallocate "SOME," of my Simplicity CL to TY Preferred - but it would be a HP to make that happen. Trust me - I have tried many - many - many times. I will give a call in Jan to see what happens.
In the meantime - there are some Citi Easy Deals that I can enjoy and I have about 1090 points to use. I will look for those diamonds in the rough for a while before it is all said and done. They have some good ones on local deals. Too bad I do not eat Burger King - they have a ton of coupons for that place. I have used some coupons for a local Middle Eastern restaurant that is a few blocks from me. If you have some rewards on Simplicity - at least try to use them before closing it, if that is what you end up doing.

I would PC it to the Double Cash card... Thinking about applying for it outright or wait about 9 months to PC it
