I went to the Chevron by my house and used my Amex PRG card and the pump said it was offering me a discount on the fuel prices and brought it down .10 below the cash price.  Is Amex running a promotion with Sinclair fuel (7-11)?

Sounds like the gas station is doing the promo for using AMEX.  Usually AMEX promos show up on the statement and not at the POS.
