Ok, so I know my overall credit picture right is not good ok, I get that. Had a bk last yr and scores are in my siggy. Well, I called India credit solutions and asked to be transferred back to the USA, and spoke with a totally worthless senior supervisor. I thought he might have a little more pull than everyone else ( was a denied a cli on Walmart a few weekes ago, thought I'd try again with someone different). Anyways... Same song and dance, denied, getting a letter which will join all the other 5 I get in the mail monthly trying for an increase, which has at the bottom a sp exp score from April. I asked for limit to be increased to $3k and told him I'm willing to accept a counter, and asked for $800 on my 76 gas card, ( I'm traveling for vacation next month). All accounts are in good standing, 6 months old, and at $0 bal, and my overall credit card profile is less than 1% on my reports. Still denied saying at this time I don't qualify for an increase. (Sighs).... I know credit solutions has worked for a lot of people, but they have been worthless and rude for me. I'm very disappointed, and I do understand somewhat being denied for my lower scores and bK but I use the heck out of these cards, and pif. Just really frustrated right now and I'm soooo done with everything, I just give up. Seriously makes me want to just SD all my cards but my majors. They have been more lienent towards me than the store cards have. Ok, sorry for rant, and I'm sure there will be a few of the regulars piping in here to tell me I should be grateful etc... But, try to understand my frustration first before you chastise me.
I understand completely. You would think that showing 6 months of good payment history and always PIF should get you a little bump. However, it is all based on their risk management system and apparently they still think you are a higher risk. I would not take it personally since it is all business. Now, if they were rude on the phone, that is different.
I was stuck between 650-690 for 2 years and went through something similar. I feel your pain. keep your head up.
Why specifically do you need a CLI on these cards? Do you legitimately use them enough that you bump up against the limits without making multiple payments a month?
I feel like credit limits are largely cosmetic and aren't necessarily reflective of real-world need.
You're a year out from a BK. You have a $10k CL with Navy. Be patient.
i have called credit soultions and got nothing with my card. I always call the customer service on back and then ask for underwriting.. It never failed me yet!! just go $250 yesterdat for L&T
I feel your pain. It seems like I'm stuck in "credit purgatory" despite of low utilization and constant use of GE/Synch cards.
Got denied for a cli with all of my GE/Synch cards. LIke the other poster(s) said, you can't really complained alot. You got
some nice cards, especially NFCU, a year after BK7.
They just dont care, I am at 9.5 yrs post a BK that I DIMSISSED this means it never happened and they deny my Chevron Visa for BK, its been this way for 2 years, its at 3.5K and thats it... I apped last week for their Ebates and they pulled EX that does not have the BK on it and was approved for 6K so I told them they could shove the Chevron just this morning and that I would be filing a complaint on them for even using DISMISSED BK as a reason for denial, I know it wont get far but it makes me happy to give them some kind of gift that they will have to take the time to respond to. You are just going to have to pretty much take what they give you or forget about this creditor until your BK drops.
Just remember to not take it personal. You are less than a year from a discharged BK and it is going to take some time of proving to them you can handle what you have before they want to give you more. It has nothing to do with you - it is because you burned other creditors before and they don't want the same thing to happen to them.
I love to see the success people have but I have yet to talk to anyone at credit solutions (and I have the USA number!) that sounds like they are actually LOOKING AT MY CREDIT REPORT and are able to physically type in a new CL, it still feels very manual computer to me... can't talk about it, can't tell you who they looked at, nothing.
they never mention what your doing good, your relationship with them, nothing that says I'm a credit analyst and know what credit is and can do something outside what this computer spits out.
