Solution to Scratched CSP...

Hello all...I'm going to app for the CSP in Feb, 2014. My wife already has one, and she, as many here, hates how easily the CSP gets scratched with relatively few swipes. Since the info is on the back of the card, and the front is flat, I told her to ask for a replacement. Then, I went to the dollar store and got a protector sheet for an older iPad. Then all I had to do was cover her CSP with the plastic and trim around the edges. She has swiped it at least a dozen times, and it goes through the swiper with no problems. When the plastic starts getting scratched, all that is needed is to pull it off and apply another. Yes, she loves her CSP and is obsessed with keeping it pristine. I admit, I will do the same when I get mine...Smiley Tongue!

lol.. Geeez its meant to be used! the uglier it is the more youve used.. the older it is, it becomes vintage! As i have read somewhere here, you dont wanna go tampering around with cards, so be careful! Use em abuse em and be proud of the ugly card! lol.

I like putting my cards to use, they were meant as a means of payment, not for something to hang up to admire.  I like my cards having battle scars.

Once it becomes unusable or mag stripe unreadable, order replacement, repeat again.

+2. When I want a new one because the card is too scratched up, I just request one saying the current one is damaged. Just tell them that the checkout chick left it sitting on the magnetic surface where they de-magnetize security stickers, and now it doesn't swipe/read very well.
