Alright, I've had my MCP for about a month now, and have no previous experience with Elan or US Bank or their reward systems. I quickly hit the $150 SUB on the card, and both it and the cash back I earned from purchases showed up in my account basically as soon as the transactions posted. When I tried to go to the rewards center to redeem it however, it showed I had 0 rewards earned, so it wouldn't let me redeem anything. I figured maybe I had to wait until the statement period ended for it to fully process through and become available to redeem, so I waited. Now my statement has cut, I've gone back in to try to redeem, and it's still showing as 0 rewards earned within the rewards center page, so I can't redeem anything. I am trying to redeem for a statement credit, if that makes a difference. What am I missing? Does it take a couple days after the statement cuts to finish processing through and become available? Is there some other timeframe or requirement/step I'm not aware of? Help! (lol)
