No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I actually flip flop between keeping either Barclays and/or Cap1. Still haven't made a clear decision.

Plan is to start whittling down to maybe 10 cards eventually. If i get decent limits on a few i, of a low income would have no problem using or having 5.
Probably 1st up on the cb is a card so far down the proverbial path of usefulness will be my Sunglass Hut from Synchrony bank. A stunningly beautiful 29.99 Apr with an outstanding $800 cl, this one of kind is so special you cant even use it on their own website. Lol, just waiting til Aug to get my 2 years special
Sunglass Hut needs a credit card? Proud of their crap aren't they?? XD

I just re read my post...
Not sure if I want to go all the way down to only 3 credit card accounts. Does this sound odd to anyone? I feel like I would be going to the opposite extreme.
I definitely want to simplify. What do y'all think is good simplification strategy as far as having a healthy amount of credit cards? 3? 4? 5? max 6?
I don't think the answer is a specific number, it matters that you have a use for each card you have, for instance I have over 30, now if I get down to 20, but they are cards I use, give me hotel/airline status then that is fine for me.....It really is about what you can use/handle comfortably.....at least that is how I look at it....
I've been slowly reorganizing. I'm on the fence with a few.
NFCU Platinum (was GoRewards). Vanilla.
United Mileage Explorer. - 38,000 Miles. $95 AF
BoA 321 - $0.00
Playstation Visa - 10,000 Sony Points.
I did not successfully PC nor obtain the BoA BBR. This list is in the order of closure should that be their ultimate fate. Life happened and my trip to Asia was cancelled. I'm trying to gift my miles to my family. I gifted my annual passes for Christmas to a family of four (I had 4 that worked). In the interim, I've been flying AA intercontinentally as UA is best for international redemption.
Really.On.The.Fence.and felt like sharing. Group hug.

Gardner, the worse thing about it is , i kid you not, you cannot use their own credit card on their website!. Thats like me goings to Pennies and not being able to use my Pennies card but sure, we'll accept your Searslol and smh. Havent used it since a 20 buck charge back in feb 16
Store cards do have their oddities. I can't use my Brooks Bros card at airport locations. Not sure why.
And while the BB store card doesn't give free shipping, simply having any Amex gives me ShopRunner (which includes BB).
So there's a Sunglass Hut card...a Lenscrafters card...any other Luxxotica cards?
Cap1 QS (PCed from Platinum)-- going to be closed with the CL being moved to my "real" QS (WEMC) as soon as I pay the balance to zero and the statement cuts, first week of May.
Still on the fence about closing NFL and moving the CL to my jetBlue Plus. I know I will eventually, but maybe not this soon.

That's like the Gander Mtn store card! My husband was excited to get approved for it, but we then realized it can't be used online, only in store. We live in California, and the closest store is in Idaho! We should have read the fine print more carefully.
At least it will always report a zero balance for him until they or he closes it.
