Store Cards

Hi Everyone! 

 

I'm thinking about applying for the Banana Republic store card, but I'm unsure if I'll be approved.  Please let me know what your experiences have been with BR or GEMB in general or if there is an easier card to get.  I don't have a BK, but I do have a few collections which have been paid off.  My EX FICO is 624 and my FAKO's are in the high 500's. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to MyFICO.  Everyone is different and has different experiences with GEMB.

 

I can tell you from my experience, I have scores in the low to mid-600's at the moment, I did not get approved for Chevron or Lowes (both GEMB products). Then again some with lower scores have been approved. So YMMV.
