I noticed that my CL on my GAP store card (issued by Synchrony) was decreased from 1500 to 1278. I thought the number was a little odd. Any explination to what may be going on here?

No balance. I don't use the card anymore (has been over a year), but I see no point closing it either. It is frozen, and Sync will probably cancel it one day, but until than I'll take advantage of the contribution the card has to my AAoA.

The reduction is $222. So it could be an AI bot that does CLD, and has developed an affinity for patterns when determining CLD amount as a way of acting out. #sarcastic.
This is the usual Sync auto CLD for lack of use. Usually you can call in to have it restored.

Agree but with OP not caring bout the card or limit and the limit not even that far off from the original, don't think they will
Does look like they are mixing it up with the CLD for inactivity. Didn't it always used to be $1024?

Thank you for the info, though I don't really care about that so I won'e waste my time calling. I don't mind if they just close it completely by this point. I have not used the card for over a year.
