Sub-Prime question..

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of sub prime cards like Orchard, FP, Creditone etc.., actually growing with you.  Or is it just known fact that they don't.  Does anyone here have a high limit (over $2k) on a sub prime card?

Thanks..

Re: Sub-Prime question..

I have had Orchard Bank for a year now, started off with a $300 CL, now it is $3000.  Couldn't believe it myself!  I have gotten 3 CLI within the last 8 months.

I still have two sub-prime cards left in my line-up (Orchard Gold and Platinum)-- mainly kept them for the AAoA since they were my oldest tradelines (2007). Now after successfully backdating my Amex, I will be closing one and seeing what happens with the other.

To answer your questions, neither one grew with me. The gold card (my lowest credit line) started at $700 and was bumped to $900 within a year. No auto- or customer initiated credit lines since. My Platinum started and still remains at $2000.00. Both do not have an annual fee.

bigman023, that's a big jump in your scores (looking at the sig line)!  Congrats!!

Give it a year, and you won't even ask this question...you'll know what to do, with confidence!
