I've seen lots of comments that cap one won't waive the annual fee but I took a chance and called this afternoon as I was charged the annual fee on 2-5 and just really kept forgetting to call and try.
I called and said I was recently charged a annual fee on my savor card and I wanted to see what my options were in waiving the fee or maybe changing products.
The rep said I was a good customer and he would waive the fee, read me a disclosure that it was a one time fee waiver said they would send me a letter also.
He also told me he could change me into another card if I wanted to go over the options and I said nope I'm good for another year now maybe ill change before the fee hits again.
I checked tonight and the fee has already been credited back.
Nice! They do waive AF. I have done it a few times over the years.
Thanks I recently read several comments that they won't waive the fee or let's you change from savor to savor one so I was happy. 5 min phone call saved $95.
Nice! Congrats on the waiver.
Nice.
I was thinking about going for a waiver, but decided to downgrade to QS and avoid the AF entirely. I don't spend enough on dining/entertainment to play AF games for 4%.
NICE. Great job. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. period.
Congrats on your free waiver, that's the reason I kept my QS1 this year
Congrats on your AF waiver. You give me hope of a similar result. I have a QS 1 with an annual $35 fee. It is my oldest card by 2 1/2 years but also my lowest CL. I have other equally good cash back cards without AF, so I can't really justify paying an annual fee on this card. If they won't waive it this year, (they did last year), I am planning on closing it.

You should try to PC the card. add /prductupgrade at the end of the URL when viewing the card online.
