Really considering it for this week.
Im itching badly for the Freedom card. What chance is there that I could be approved. Is there an auto-denial within a certain amount of time for Chase? Im sure there is.
I'll be completley on my own since they do not factor in AU history.
Personal stats:

I'm just not sold on the Sallie Mae card. Being another MasterCard doesnt make it any more desirable either.
I think the hit I would take to my true AAoA, plus another inquriy would not be worth the ~$35 savings I calculated I would get with it on groceries+gas (being their quarterly monthly cap is 250 per category.) Freedom would give me that, and more.
I would be FREE!... sorry, bad pun.
Chase AMEX Discover
Jan - March: 5% Gas 6% Gro
April - June: 3% Gas 6% Gro
July - Sept: 5% Gas 5% Gas 6% Gro
Oct - Dec: 5% Amazon 5% Online 3% Gas 1% Gro
The only question for me is when to re-apply.
*Thanks Themanwhocan for catching that typeo.

I believe the 10% bonus has or is ending
how long since you were declined for freedom?
I was 7-10'd back in August of this year, was denied after two recon attempts due to:
- Too few revolving credit accounts and experience.
Or something to that effect, can't remember exactly. This was back when I only had one hard pull, so Im worried about being denied for the same reason, plus now too many inquiries, plus possible auto-denial from re-applying too soon.

They would not auto deny based on app more than 30 days old.

Id apply again... that's over 3 months.
Ok.
Im going to wait atleast a couple weeks to apply, once all my statement dates cut off next week, plus some time to update my CR with lower balances. Im really in no rush here.

Sallie Mae caps are monthly caps, not quarterly.
