Has anyone had a successful Chase Freedom Recon with one 6 year old unpaid bad co? That was the one of the main reasons I got denied besides utlization (which I plan to PAY DOWN asap).
Thanks!
YMMV. Low UTL and good reporting history from on out. If you apply and get a 30 day message...I'd called the backdoor number ASAP! Explain your reason for the previous baddie and how you've had better credit from then on out. You'd get it. Good luck!
My husband got the message, called back door number and reconned..got approved..only for $500, but we were happy to just get in with chase. Has one unpaid CA from 2008..a medical that the company won't validate.
I got Equifax to DELETE the 1 unpaid charge off from my credit report. Worth a recon now? I think it would be a HP since they'd have to repull my report.
Did you double check to make sure your reports were updated? You dont wan't to waste a HP if it's still reporting even tho they "deleted" it. I think Chase is known to pull EX tho.
I have security freezes on my account, so I unfroze Equifax at the time of the application (for not real reason) so they originally pulled EQ. When pulling up the "dispute" online form, my credit report no longer reflects that negative charge off, as well as I have a copy of the letter from Equifax confirming deletion.
Would this be sufficient do you think?
YMMV I had and have currently two paid chargeoffs (1 in 2010 and the other in 2012). Reconned and got the Freedom with a 2500 limit. They didn't even ask about my CO's. They questioned some inquiries and 2 minutes later approved. My overall utilization was 11%
Hm. Did they ask you how much you income was?
