Recently got denied a CLI because I don't put enough on the card with my current limit. Decided to hit up the chat and ask if I would be able to get an apr decrease. My last fico scorecard from them said that my TU score is 700. I got a reply back pretty quickly saying that I was eligible for a decrease of a little over 1% (19.99 to 18.59). Kinda bummed I didn't get a 0% apr temp offer but a decrease is better than no decrease!
Congratulations on your Discover APR reduction!
Nice work on the reduction! Out of curiosity, where did you go to request that via message? The last time I tried via the chat function, I was told that was something that could only be done over the phone. From their main web page I went to help--inbox--message an agent. Either there is a different place to go, or I just was connected with a department that did not have that ability.

Grats on your Disco APR reduction!

@Ficoproblems247, In the past, I was successful in doing it via chat.
I did it through the chat function on the app.
Congrats!

I did mines in November via chat too. I was also told I can ask for another reduction in 6 months. Congrats to you.
Congratulations on the reduction!
Thanks for this thread, you reminded me I could ask for a reduction.
Last time they told me I needed to have the card for at least a year.
Sent a message earlier and they wouldn't lower my APR but gave me the 0% for 12 months on purchases.
I've never carried a balance but you never know what might come up.
Thanks to @Xic
