Questions about the BBVA ClearPoints credit card.

I have some questions about the BBVA ClearPoints credit card.

- Will i get the intro $100 SUB after 1.5K spent offer if i apply via the prequalified page, even if that into isn't displayed?

- and what will happen after the BBVA to PNC merge? and will it happen?

Should be $200 during december see DOC article... It is doubled for December I believe in branch or phone or website, but certainly $100 as I just got approved for card last friday and got email saying 100 sub, but believe as mentioned it is 200 although neither are disclosed on app.

Yes, if they were offering a SUB when you applied, you should get it - or least we did on both of our ClearPoints cards. 

On the PNC merge - I couldn't tell you. I do hope they don't mess with the ClearPoints cards, because it's one of my best and most used cards.

no didn't see any offering before and after the prequalified. i did it by login to my bbva checking and then Add More Products > credit cards > apply now for clearpoints card.

I would double check with their customer service to make sure the SUB offer is attached when applying for the card from your account once logged in. Think it's safe but never hurts to check

If you apply, get screen captures that include date and time of that splash page showing the offer.   If you have to argue the point later that you're entitled to the sub having the printouts will help bolster your case.

I've app'd through the prequal page with both of ours. Mine was $100, but DW's was $200 in May. 
According to the site, you should receive the SUB as long as you're not already a cardholder.

Based on what @CreditCuriosity said and looking back at the Doctor of Credit article detailing this is that those that apply by phone or in branch qualify for the double bonus offer BBVA is running for the month of December for the all three of their credit cards. For those that are already pre-existing customers I don't know if applying online would count which is why I would ask

Part if the email i received today.. so either $100 or $200 and exact same way you did it from online checking, then credit card to pre-qual to apply and approved..  So clearly see bonus but possibly doubled worse case only 100...
