Suggestions on Care Credit

I made a huge mistake and applied for Care Credit when I had my wisdom teeth taken out 2 years ago. I'm still paying on the $3000 and feel like I'll never pay it off. Any suggestions as far as paying it off????? Would I be able to do a balance transfer to a credit card?? Thoughts?

Re: Suggestions on Care Credit

What is the current balance on it?  Do you have any CCs that have any promotional BT offers?

Discover offers 18 months 0% interest on balance transfers right now.

My Discover offer was for 12 months 0%, and I specifically took it just a couple of days ago to clear up a "lingering" Care Credit account of my grandparent's I've been paying on for a couple of years now.

Much easier to 'knock out' the balance once-and-for-all without the 23% interest accruing... Smiley Wink

If you have an 18 month offer, I would take it for sure.  Just be aware if you're accustomed to PIF you card each month you'll start accruing interest on your purchases each month until the BT is paid in full (per the fine print on my offer).  However if you're still under a new account 0% APR for purchases as well, there's nothing to be concerned about until it expires.
