Hello, I am sorry i this has been asked already .......I searched and couldn't find the answer..
I currently have 16 credit cards with Synchrony my total credit line is 111,500. I think I remember seeing something about 100,000 being the limit with them. Can anyone confirm?
100k is maxed with them..

I suppose this is why I can't get a credit line increase? Is asking to lower your limit a bad thing?

I don't think it would be a bad thing unless you're close to the limits you might hurt with utilization. I also try to keep my Synch exposure under 100k. There's nothing written in stone that's their limit, but the general consensus is around 100k (all accounts, business and personal).

Although I am not maxed with them, this would be my guess as to why you cant get increases on your cards.. You might need to cancel or lower limits on some of your cards that you dont need such limits on if you want higher limits on others
Thanks This time last year I only had First Premier, Credit One and a few store cards. I would have never thought I would be here today asking if I had too much credit. LOL I suppose this is a good problem to have.
