Is there any math involved in Synchrony closing accounts?
I have a Synchrony Care credit card with $15,000 limit and 0 balance. if that got closed i would be F'd big time. Would change my overall utilization from 28% to like 44%.

Put a little spend on your CareCredit card at Walmart or Walgreens just to keep it alive/active. Just swipe first any personal care products like shampoo and you're good to go. Everything at Walgreens swipes.
Lowe's - $5000- $1100 balance as I just did some work on my house but already made a $200 payment that hasn't posted yet
paypal mc 2% - $5000- $673 balance with a $173 payment that hasn't posted yet,
$10k = 2 cards, making 2 payments a month on accounts
low risk I would think, I would like to grow the PayPal card to $10,000 or more but don't think I'll do it with how synchrony is closing accounts
Current Credit Card total : 5

Only two of my Sync accounts have balances, Care Credit MC and PPC, with 3% and 2% UTIL, respectively. Overall UTIL is ~1%

Out of curiosity SE, why do you suspect that's low risk? Seems to be a pretty perfect target for Sync's algorithms?
In general, my own exposure to Sync is $0 currently, but I don't think income is really going to play that much of a role, it's going to be change in patterns and spend. Income right now for a lot of consumers (with as many are filing) Sync might as well be playing 52-pickup unless they want to verify income for individuals, which admittedly there are some online databases which might be able to but I don't know how frequently they are updated for things like job loss and furlough TBH.

High/ low candidate (in your opinion): Low to Medium. Possibly for non-use. Have not used PPCredit since Synch acquired, and PPMC has been in the sock drawer. I found their reporting dates unreliable and I'm in the middle of mortgage...didn't want them reporting when I'm trying to practice AZEO. Other than the utilization padding, I would not mourn them if they dropped the hammer.
I think my risk is quite low. $57k in total exposure, which isn't huge in proportion to income, and less than I have in total bank card credit lines from American Express, Bank of America, and Navy Federal Credit Union. FICO 8 scores are all 790s to 810s with flawless payment history. VS4 is in 750s.
Amazon $12k circa 2012. Gets $300-800 monthly spend. Always PIF except for a few 12-24 month 0% promos a few years back that were paid before accrued interest hit.
Lowe's $35k circa 2016. Rarely used since 5% discount doesn't stack with 10% military discount. Currently has $2000 left of a 0% promotional balance, will be paid off before promo expires.
PayPal Credit $10k circa 2017. This was actually a BillMeLater account that I opened 20 or 21 years ago, but it was dormant for about 15 years and when I used it in 2017 apparently that reset the opening date as I found out when it began to report after the Synchrony change. I have used it twice in 3 years for 4-digit purchases and paid it off before the 0% promos expired.
