I have 4k limit on the card. Bought something with 10 month no APR, paid it off in 4 months. Bought something for 3.8k almost maxed it out now im down under 2.5k which is around 60% util on the card also on a 2 year no APR program, but right now I'm under 15% on total util. Bought a car as well 3 months back. 725 score. Question is, should I take a hard pull and ask for CLI to 25k to get a counter or do I need to lower the util on the card first?
All Synchrony CLI requests are determined with soft pulls. Get on chat or call Credit Solutions and ask for your 25k, they should at least counter-offer.

This Sync card is a HP and actually a Double HP usually... but sounds like you shop at the store a lot so might be worth it!

This and the CarCareOne card are both Hard Pulls unfortunately.

Huh, was not aware of the exceptions to the rule. Thanks to you and CA for the correction!

So essentially the cards that are potentially the most useful lol?
I recently applied for a Ashley Furniture and was approved online for $3000. Me and DW picked up a new couch and love seat. After the $1400 purchase posted my available credit went down to $140. Haven't contacted them yet but I guess the purchase scared them?

I had this happen, Ashley Furniture charged my card twice and it freaked them out. Got Ashely's to refund the second charge and everything was reinstated.

when you make a purchase at Ashley Furniture Homestores (most are licensees so ymmv) they authorize to hold the money and reserve the promotional apr (usually 0% for x months, this week it is up to 70 for the 70th anniversary sale) but do not charge your synch account. When you get your furniture delivered (or pick it up) they then run the charge, this may result in a charge and a hold if done incorrectly, the hold should release in a few days but always call the store or the store's accounts receivable office if you notice this on your account and verify as things sometimes go wrong. Also unless you have already set up your account online (which I do not think they let you do until you have your first charge but I could be wrong) you will not get a bill or see the charge for up to 5 weeks after it is charged by the store.
