It's been a long time coming. Applied for my Target credit card in March 2020. My spending history has been generally $100-200 a month, and PIF. Almost 4 years!
I was initially approved in 3/20 with an SL of $2000, received a CLI up to a total line of $2500 within the last few months.
My MC conversion announcement included a CLI to $5000 limit, as well as the standard 2% on gas and dining, with 1% everywhere else.
Happy day!
You are on a roll today! Congrats!
Congratulations on your upgrade and auto CLI.

Curious, did you take a hit for it showing as a new account, or did it keep the same account information as the store version on the bureaus and just show as a cli + upgrade?
Congrats on your upgrade and cli.
Congrats on the upgrade!
@CashOutReFi OMG YOU LUCKY SOB!!!!!!! well, not lucky.. you earned it!!
this card aint perfect, but doggone it sure is a unicorn. I got impatient back in 2012 after 3 years of having the crappy 300 CL store card and closed it. lol
it seems like the synchrony ones upgrade after 2 years or so, and target store card upgrades after .. 3 or 4 years?
what a unicorn of an upgrade! with the Synchrony visa/mc upgrades, they reported a new account with the larger limit while closing th eold account with the old limit. Never affected my score much, but in theory it could. they dont back date. this was synchrony though. maybe someone else who had this unicorn experience can chime in .
I am looking at my original account opening date, and the new credit limit of $5000. No reset, no new account, no inquiry!
wow youre lucky. i had my card at 2200 for the longest and target won't increase my credit line. hence i stopped using it ahha

Congrats on the conversion! My DW really likes her Target MC.
